Front Moving Onshore, Showers for the Week

Happy Sunday! A strong April front is making its way onshore right now. This front will move through the region tonight and move through the Puget Sound area by early Monday morning. This front will feature widespread rain and potentially gusty winds.

At 8:25 PM, the front (and associated rain ahead of it) is nearing our area.

Widespread rain is expected starting by 10 pm Sunday night. It will continue through Monday morning, and then turn to showers later in the day. Here's the expected rain total through Tuesday.

Expect 0.2-0.5 inches of rain. Most of that rain will be tonight as the front moves in.

As the front moves through early tomorrow morning, winds will get gusty. Expect winds gusting 20-35 mph...possible from 4-8 AM.

The rest of the week will be showery, with a chance of rain each day (and also some sunbreaks).
