It has been a wet start to November! As you may expect, that will continue. There is a chance of rain on each of the next 10 days, with 2-4 inches expected over the next 7 to 10 days. Expect a break in the rain overnight Thursday, with rain beginning early Friday morning, tapering by early afternoon. Totals of 0.1-0.3 inches are expected. Rain begins again very early Saturday, continuing through Monday morning, with breaks at times. Approximately 0.5-1 inch is expected in the interior through Monday, with more on the coast and in the mountains. Mountain snow is expected as well. This weekend will feature the first widespread mountain snow of the season, with 4-8” possible by Sunday evening at the passes (more in higher elevations). Additionally, winds are possible over the weekend. The forecast is still uncertain, but at least gusts of 25-35 mph are expected. Some forecasts have shown higher gusts, but that is not yet certain, so stay tuned!
